RawBurt, you need new headlights and 12,000K HIDs badly!

New head lights and 8k HIDs are next. After seeing chris's 8k's my mind is made up. They are not purple and they are not extremely blue. Just a very white light!

Anyway, I already posted pictures of my car with 12k, dont you remember, lol

dont knock it until you see them (in person). Bottom line, spending around a thousand bucks on projectors is nowhere on my horizon. Yes I love the looks, but cant justify the cash moooneeeeis. Yes there is scatter but his HIDs light up the road FAR better them any stock halogen bulb would ever even come close to. Not only do the HIDs perform as they should, they look sexy as hell.

you dont need to spend 1000 on projectors, if you spend the money on HID WISELY you can achieve MUCH better lighting..

I have seen all lights in person and I know what I am talking about, if only you saw Tony's (CSVT1214) lights, I gave him my old 4300K D2R lights and my God they look sexy on his car. Did you know after a year or so of using 4300K, they turn bluer to almost 5000K, yea thats what Tony is experiencing and they look hott..

This has been played out way too much. Let it go Haroon. He is going to get 8,000k no matter what you say. We know what will give the best light output. He is going for the "wow" factor.

Running 4300k D2R, new Ford OEM headlights, fiberglass eyelids, and perfect aiming, I wouldn't have it any other way.

RawBurt, I just hope you don't drive in the rain that much.

Tony and goonz, I've seen first hand how the lights (8k) perform. I've drove and rode along in the car with them. They are better then stock, and they look good, i feel like I said that already. Maybe this will clear things up, I don't need professional high class lighting on my contour... Now leave us people who like the looks and the function alone! =>

I tend to agree with this comment. Except I am running the Philips 5000k D2S "Color match" bulbs, fiberglass eyelids, and perfect aiming. The eyelids block all glare that would normally be emited out of the top of the headlight which is why I was able to use the D2S bulbs and I get that extra couple hundered of lumens (best of both worlds). I have both the D2R in 4300k and the D2S in 5000k so I have experiemented with both and really like this setup. There is very little to no glare whatsoever and I never get flashed. The color and brightness is perfect. With the Piaa Ion Fogs it looks like a Lex IS300 coming which is exactly the look I was going for. They are sexy as hell.
