Progress on the Zetec...

that was right after it was dropped off the jack stands, so it settled alittle as soon as it was moved.

btw its all stock replacement parts ...

yeah this was the car after it was moved a bit.
Other than the ride height, the new suspension will be much improved over the original.

d'oh! reminds me of my GL Monster Truck. ;)
Idiot me decided to try to be cheap and put my Cougar's old suspension parts on the car, not realizing that they were meant to hold the weight of a V6 (and dogamatic I spose too lol)

most definately. the rear struts where completely shot, as where the front control arms. it should be a really smooth riding zetec.

Here's a shot after driving a bit. You guys are so mean, making fun of the monster truck. It was just after it came off the jackstands! The wheels didn't have a chance to kick out

I would also like to note that the wheel gap will be much smaller once I put the E0's back on (they were off to prevent further wear from my crappy LCA's/ball joints )

on the sho forums its common practice to cut a dead coil or two from moog springs, are these progressive or linear?

I don't think people get it. I don't want to lower my car. I was scraping my exhaust enough with my saggy rear suspension, and with all the city driving I do, I don't want to have to worry about tearing up the body and exhaust. I wanted high quality parts that would last a long time...as long as this engine should last. This by no means is a "performance" car, although I might take it auto-xing next spring or something . I guess I shouldn't update this thread unless I'm doing "extensive" mods.
