Bring a quart of oil or two, I know its been discussed already, but it too is an essential item. I know there's an advanced autoparts on route 68, so its only about 15 minutes from us.

Make sure your batteries are good for the 2-ways, there going to be very important with our big group, especially if we've got 2 groups going out with a 10 or 15 minute gap between us. The lead group can tell the second group of any issues infront of them:idea:

It appears that Randy and I have upgraded our fluid so far by replacing it and IIRC so did Trey, have you guys thought about this, its pretty cheap insurance as those brakes get hott:shocked::shocked::shocked:

i replaced mine earlier this summer. nothing special, but since i didnt have any problems last year with the old nasty fluid im not too concerned as i have nice clean fluid.

We need to bring firewood, because it was kinda pricey at the gas stations. We do have Hector's dad though......he's pretty good at finding firewood.

I am looking forward to a nice fire with smores and some YOUNGLING Beer!

if we're going to scavenge for firewood then someone needs to bring a hatchet so we can cut it up into reasonable pieces. lol

Just burn it in half

That's the spirit Chris and cool that your staying involved in this and IF something comes up and you can make it, you can stay with us, but you'd need a sleeping bag as I think all the cots will be used up by our group:crazy:

KIRK GIBSON NUMBER OF DAYS TO GO, ITS GETTING CLOSER AND CLOSER!

Is that beer for kids? I prefer Yuengling, but to each his own.

I won't be making it. I got too much crap (unfortunately it's pretty much that, just crap, nothing good or fun) going on right now. Ya'll have fun.

Nope. We are talking about the same beer. It is just a bit of an inside joke from last Dragon run. Something funny someone said while we were all sitting by a fire enjoying smores.

...in the other thread, this is for "must have" items and/or suggestions like...2-way radios w/ fresh batteries, quart or two of oil, brake fluid, fix-a-flat, etc. It probably wouldn't hurt for us to check here from time to time either....www.tailofthedragon.com:shrug:

Ya i am running the super blue just like Randy.

You probably are going to want to apply a good coat of wax to your car, especially the front and even your windshield. I know a couple of you guys have already and I'm going to be adding another coat the day before, probably the Griots Garage "Best of Show"

Anybody know if there is a car wash nearby thats not an automatic one? I really want to be able to wash my car before hand but i dont want to take the CF hood through the auto car wash.

Well after seeing how many people are coming (thanks to Roger's big mouth!) I will stress this again: Nobody needs to be driving heroes out here! There will be quite a few more people than anticipated at first and with more cars there will definitely be more chances for incident. Everyone needs to understand that these are roads...NOT RACETRACKS! I have no issue calling out any asshat driving, and it won't be tolerated. If you can't handle this, you can go do your own thing. I want everyone to be able to go home to their families safe and sound; you, whoever you bring, and cars in one piece.

Just wanted to make this clear.

break this rule and the Tail of the Dragon Chupacabras will get you!

We all (except for trey) will be too far away from home to risk hurting ourselves or our cars. I don't want to experience Telico Plains Hospitals or Mechanics.
