My first drive at Mont-Tremblant, definetly I will try to get back there a few more times this year. Cicruit Mont-Tremblant is the former venue for the F1 Canadian Grand Prix, amazing amazing track.

Nice driving Mani... I'm sure it was loads of fun ;) I've ran that course in the Ferrari Challenge video game and its just as I remember it to be.

I am curious as to why you, as well as others seem opposed to running the cold air into the fenderwell since NPG makes a kit for it? I like the way you did yours, I'm just wondering outloud more or less :D

Thanks Shannon. No offence to anyone but, the way I have mine setup is better than what NPG has to offer. There is a complete heat shield and the ability to use a headlight intake makes it even more efficient. There are almost no bends all the way to the throttle body either. For those who can't make their own, the NPG is an alternative, but even though, I'd do something with the stock airbox rather than having a non heatshielded intake sit in the engine bay, specially with our cars where the underhood tempratures can get very hot.

No harm no foul here... I was just curious is all ;) The fenderwell CAI is an arguable subject in the Cobra community is what got me to asking. I run a fenderwell kit on my Cobra, but it utilizes a 12" X 4" S&B Powerstack filter and a 4.5" OD inlet tube. An apples to oranges comparison I know but I'm sure you get what I'm saying

What's the specs of your 3.0L build if you don't mind me asking? Such as CR and what cams you used, what it came from, etc. I've been thinking lately how much power would be obtainable from a higher compression ratio 3.0L build on motor. I was thinking like it should make pretty decent power and be fun to drive :D

As far as I remember the motor is an 06 Escape motor, bought it with 800km's on it. Running Clevite 77 bearings, svt cams and as you can see an st220 manifold. And it isn't hacked and sacked, it is running the oval ports. So there isn't any major work done to the motor. Currently as you see it is running with a base tune, so it isn't giving its optimal power, I might soon take it to a SCT competent shop to get it tuned properly.

The car is looking sharp, as always. Very curious about the brake ducting. Any more info you can provide on that modification?

Thank you. It is still work in progress.

The ducting brackets you see on fog light surrounds is made to attach to the factory fog light holes, so no cutting or drilling is required. I've used 2" diamater aircraft ducting, (the orange stuff which is what you want for highest heat resistance), the ducting goes under the subframe to a bracket made which directs the air to the hub of the rotor hat. As I said it is still work in progress, we will be making some tweaks to it to insure maximum efficiency.

Ruined my keyboard in drool. lol Very nice job man!! And I agree about not hacking your ovalport heads......the injectors were meant to spray dead center over both valves for a reason fellas (proper fuel/air atomization). Sweet car....I am so jealous!

Your car looks sick, and sounds even better...thanks for sharing this

Thanks! Atleast somebody here gets what we've been saying for years but lets not open up a big debate here :D
