Official Fall Dragon Run Oct 13-15th

Sorry gents, I can't make it this time 'round. You can bet your asses I'll be up for the next fall run & I'll have a few surprises for you (= all of CEG, but SECEG gets first viewing) as well!

Don't ask, 'cause if I tell, it won't be a surprise!

Picked up the SVT today. The mech said the dump valve was not opening thus not sending fluid to the caliper, so the HCU and Module assembly were replaced. The car stops good. I have not done any hard breaking because I want to seat them properly. The only problem now is it is hard to find Fifth gear and the shift nob has alot of play in it. Other wise it all good.

Only 3 days and 9 hours for my departure time. Cant wait..... :)

Cheers,
Suriel

Speaking of which, I reckon Icy fixed his? I forgot to ask the other day.

Yeah I got it fixed Eric I ended up doing alot of searching on here and found part numbers for both of the 98 cable ends and got them from Bill it was fixed pretty easy. So now I'm shifting good and got some good 17" r-compound tires and i'm ready to drive!!!!!!!! I also managed to recruit another silver frost to come up also I met the guy a few weeks ago so that makes the number of svt's close to 7or 8 now i think!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a cake walk on our 98's all you do is push the big orange button in. I'll show you this weekend. Kinda hard to type out lol

Man it is getting so close.....One more day of work, driving out to Detroit on Wednesday, leaving and arriving at the cabins on Thursday.

Sp sport 9000s aren't r-compounds but they are a pretty good summer tire. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

We've got how many CSVT's going?

We've got how many CSVT's going?

7-8 you say, damn! Combine that with our other cars and the BMW club, its going to be a weekend to remember!

Once again, don't forget your 2-ways. I"m going to be bringing my portable air compressor as well as my power pack for jumping batteries as well as some other things like oil, digital tire gauge, etc. Its better to be prepared. Once again, I can't wait to meet some of you new guys, catch up with Josh on college football, see Erics new hat (LOL!) and making some new memories.
