Official Fall Dragon Run Oct 13-15th

Sounds like a plan Roger!!!!!!!!!! I cant wait. My wife even said today that she is excited and can't wait!!!!!!! My wheels are supposed to be here Saturday!!!!!!!!! That should help the handling a little! Everyone needs to exchange phone numbers also!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Brad called Caney Creek today just to touch base and make sure everything was hunky dorey...Cabin 6 is still ours, pay at check in. *BUT* According to Caney Creek's website http://www.caneycreekvillage.com/Rates.htm, Cabin 6 is not avaiable and is currently being used as an office!! They didn't mention that to Brad at all.
  • I managed to get off work for Friday the 13th, but Brad's still unsure. He's going to try to get off early at the least.
  • Brian and Brad have reserved two kegs of beer from Calhoun's for $35 each.
  • Cabin 6 is Brad, Kristy, Trey, Sarah, Ross and Brian. According to the website it can sleep 7, so we can take one more. The two sets of married couples get the bedrooms. If, the website is correct, and cabin 6 is not available, they might end up putting us in cabin 7 or 8, which means that 7th extra spot isn't avaiable. (cabins 7 and 8 sleep 6)
  • We're bringing a full size spare tire.
  • Since we'll be hanging out at the cabins and such, anyone want to bring DVD players/DVDs, Playstation2s, board games, etc. (Brad, Trey, Sarah and I played a mean game of yahtzee the other night! anything becomes fun when you're buzzed!) I can bring "dirty minds" http://www.tdcgames.com/dm.htm.
  • I'm not going to want to run the dragon with you guys as much as you will want to run it, so who's women are coming that I can hang with at the cabins? Sarah's a give-in ;-), Michelle? Who else?

Lets get a Current List going with cell phone numbers. All couples and/or people coming together on one line. (for ease of organization).

  • Hooray beer!
I also have a full size spare and will have another set of wheels w/ my 'race' tires, so we're definitely covered on that.
Bring a pack of cards and I can whoop up on some texas hold em (play with pennies?)

Quote John = any cabins avaliable? or near by motels/hotels?

You should call Caney Creek and find out. Do it NOW... because the 14th is an off UT Football game day. And that means *wedding craze*. (and the Dragon might be more busy). We've got the majority of the cabins, andif there are any left might be booked with honeymooners.

Either way, *call!* I think a number to call is 1-800-251-9658

On a sad note, the SVT is still not ready :(

I just saw three deer in a neighborhood. I stopped and looked at them, then when I put it in gear, they ran. So I floored it and they were hauling but I won.
Then I came up on a fox eating Krystals in the middle of the road.

I swear I'm not on drugs right now either.

Got in some aestetic stuff in today....also installed my new head unit.

Just needs a good wax......ahem, ahem, *Roger*

Can't even really wash it either.....we had some rain/mud water run into our underground garage (about 4"! ) during a storm and it all dried to dirt and dust.:help:
