New Adjustable Short Shifter

Anybody that wants one can go ahead and order one. just call them and tell them you want the shifter setup for the contour. It will come with the FSVT riser plate, longer bolts, shifter, grease, and instructions. If you have any problems ask to talk to Hector or William

very nice find. I'd be curious to see side by side shot of the Steeda base and this shifters base (below the ball) to see how much longer it is compared to the Steeda as that will equate to how much shorter a throw it will be over the Steeda.

Also how tall is the shaft above the ball?

I meant to take some measurments of the shifter before i installed it. of course, i was so excited that i forget to go get the camera. IF i get a chance, i might take it apart this weekend and get those measurments.

the shaft aboce the ball is 2 parts and is adjustable anywhere from 1.15" lower than stock to 2.9" lower than stock. I currently have it at the highest setting and the shifts dont take any extra strength over stock. they are very smooth, short, and precise.

I said about 3" :P:D. I havent officially measured it but it seams to be about 3-3.5" at full height and about 2.5" at the lowest height.:drool:
 
I wish the ball position on the shaft was also adjustable... and that the shaft was taller. I like the height of the OEM shifter, and the pivot point of the Steeda. This shifter does look pretty nice!

Its the regular 00-mid02 focus shifter (MTX75) with the FSVT riser plate (FSVT uses a metal shifter base like the 98-99 contour).

also, the only difference between the regular focus shifters and teh FSVT shifters is the lower ball attachment points towards the passenger side on the FSVT while it points towards the drivers side on the regular focus and the contour.
