Needs more chrome (2010 Fusion)

haha it's GAS off pimp my ride.....lol

they do some pretty NICE stuff at GAS. just the stuff on the show is stupid. but all the crazy stuff done on this car was sourced out. the turbo kit was being fabbed at a local shop that does stuff like this for them.

Why, this would look so much better! (Not knockin your PS abilities Berkel! :) )

My quick chop:

i actually really like that with the chrome down low. :censored::censored::censored::censored: i want one :)

The best news I've heard about this new Fusion is that it will be based on the same platform as the new Mondeo.... At last... :)

Have you been waiting to use that statement on something? It makes absolutely no since in relation to this post. Must be getting post count up to sell something.

a lil too much rice for my dish on that last pic

Rice?? Where?? I think people are using this term wayyy too much its losing its meaning. If you think its ugly than say that but rice:shrug:

But anyway back to the car.......it looks promising. Can't wait to see it.

maybe he thinks the "autocosmos" photostamp is vinyl on the car? Or the ricey snow leopard "paint job" that isn't actually a paint job at all.

I like it... with and without the chrome. I think the chrome (or plastichrome) looks good in the right proportion. In this case I think it's just right. It will be very interesting to read the first drive reviews on this car, as it seems things are getting much better at ford... 'bout time.

Am I the only one already tired of the 3-bar grille theme Ford has so enthusiastically embraced? I realize the need for some unifying element across the family line, but as a design element it just seems so heavy-handed. Still, I like where this is potentially headed. Let's hope they don't screw it up some how.

Not at all. I've disliked it ever since they came out with it. Even the 500 looked far better than the Taurus IMO (in terms of exterior aesthetic appeal).

I do understand the need for an identifying theme. For example, I saw a Freestyle this morning. The vehicle is rare to begin with; if it was debadged, I would have had no clue who made it. But I agree with you: the 3-bar grille is a very "heavy" theme, forced to the point of awkward on most vehicles in the lineup.

Are they rare? My parents have one and they are around town so I never thought of it that way.
