Light Bar!

You can probably tailor a bag to go over it so you dont have to take it off to drive down the road, I dont know the laws there.

The paint looks decent in the pictures. How does it compare to the previous Bonne car?

They are about the same on the exterior but this one was used about twice as much as the other. It looks like they were going for weight reduction so they pulled some stuff out of the interior which I am replacing. Except for new carpet and a few minor things, I have just about everything I need to get it up to par.

CJ, how did the rebuild go? All done for winter, or are there ongoing projects?

It's great to see that car in good hands, and also nice to see more photos of ol' #1. The last time I saw her was at Bondurant when I picked up #5.

As far as the light bar is concerned, I would take it off, but keep it. It's a unique part of the car's providence and heritage, and deserves to remain with its rightful owner.

todras/CJ, that's unfortunate. Is everything else sorted out? I guess I should be thankful my car has needed $0 in repairs - only oil changes during 40 hour intervals like Bondurant did and a full once-over this fall after an extended dormancy.

Looking forward to springtime when we can get it finished. Somehow the previous owner thought he was fixing something and did not get it all put back together. To be safe, we will get it over to Todd's when it warms up and we'll pull the entire engine and trans and go through the whole thing top to bottom so that it's all perfect for SZ.

You do realize Todd's old SE wasn't ready for a few Spring Zings because he was "trying to get it ready," don't you?

Just playing, Todd!
