Hey guys, I havent been on this forum for about a year. I used to have a 2000 silver svt contour with injen intake, bat y pipe, tru bendz exhaust and spec tuning short shifter. I ended up selling it in december and picked up an Altima SER. It is mostly stock except for a spectuning wai that i installed. Here are some pictures of the car

Looks like fun. What are the specs on these?

This is a 2006 Altima SER. They come with 260 hp and 250 lb torque. They do the quarter mile in the mid 14's. I ran it once this summer for the first time at the track and was able to get 15 flat with a lot of wheel spin on the jump. Tons of torque steer, but a lot of fun and very quick cars. Great VQ engine too, its the same ones from the g35s and 350s

I prefer the máxima....but thats just me....looks nice tho!!

Maxima is a great car too but I liked the sportiness that you get with this car stock over the maxima. Like the 18 inch forged rims and sports suspension and upgraded exhaust. And i fell in love with the interior. But i have always been a fan of the maxima as well

Like the look of those cars, don't see them too often.

That intake looks like kmart made it :(

The darker tube piece after the red part is actually the stock piece of the intake. The rest of it is after market. It has a real good sound though. Sounds better than any other intake i have had especially during wot

only 250 hp? Hopefully that's WHP cause it sounds like a 3L tour would own that.. I really like them too. Isn't it a 3.5 engine but different intake design etc. which brings it to less than 300 hp?

Yeah its a 3.5L with 260 hp. The regular 6 cyl altima has 250. Its ten extra hp through intake manifold and less restrictive exhaust and its a six speed instead of five so it has different gear ratio.

And im a huge fan of the contour svt since i had one for a while but even with all my mods, this ser makes the svt seem very slow. Im my opinion it would smoke the 3 L tour. Cause with simple bolt ons, i have seen these run high 13's

Oh god. Let's not get in a pissing match here. The Altima looks like a nice car. I'm sick of people saying that an 11 year old car with an engine swap is the end-all-be-all car and will "own" everything. At some point, you've got to move on.

I love that interior. Just so damn sexy.

well.... if we ever got around to an LS1 swap or something like that, then we would have something:laugh:

Nice car dude, always liked Nissans lineup, only reason I wouldn't get an Altima or Maxima is wrong wheel drive, other than that those cars are really nice.

Yeah I agree i wish they would of made these with rwd just like the sport version of the 4 door g35. The torque steer is ridiculous on this car

Thank you, thats what i wanted in this car the red and black interior. It also comes with grey and black interior but it def isnt as nice.

I remember driving the SE-Rs and having a really tough time getting over the torque steer. It is pure white knuckle hell. The exhaust note sure does make up for it though. The smoke color was my fav.

Yeah its pretty tough to take off without spinning like crazy, but the best way to do it for the track is to just go in first like you would normally but as soon as the tires are moving you gun it. Doing it this was you dont spin and torque steer is minimized greatly

Awesome car! I've wanted the Altima SE-R since it came out. They sound awesome and definitely look great with the SE-R touches.

I would probably have one if they didn't hold value as good. I just couldn't bring myself to pay what most people were asking when I was shopping around.
