Dont forget the chains for winter

seriously. i can get through anything in that car. very aggressive snow tires and 60lbs of sand in the back. i haven't spun out once this year. drove it through some BAD weather too

The point is you're arguing your ridiculous point because somebody is picking on Anastasia. Shes a big girl. She can fight her own battles. ;) And you're on drugs if you think a RWD Mustang is better in the snow than a FWD Contour...

It isn't a matter of what is better, it is a matter of what is cheaper for her right now. Obviously the cheaper rwd car won out.

idk, a stock V6 mustang is easier for me to drive in the snow and ice than my stiff as hell contour. My contour really doesnt like ice with those big thick sway bars and such. I actually decided that I am gonna break down and buy my first set of snow tires for a FWD ever before next winter. Although driving my contour in the snow is fun, cause I can save the city the trouble of plowing.

Sold my SVT right after I had my little girl. Was still making payments on it and at that time (hospital bills, baby crap, bills... etc) were more important.. had the SE that was paid off and sold it to my mom for my little bro's first car. He put in a ditch after about two months. :nonono:

My fiance and I shared his car for about 9months. (He carpooled to and from work so I had the car to play with. :) The guy he carpooled with just recently got laid off so we were in dire need of a second car. We looked at financing but are making a large rent payment and a large car payment on his. We looked at plenty of honda's and small suv's. Originally wanted a 4 door (for obvious reasons) and wanted an auto for sure (against my will.. but i know it'll be better).

OUr good friends parents had this Mustang sitting in there garage for 15 months. never trying hard to sell but wanting to. Were asking $2,800.

I bought it for $2300 and what a killer deal!! The emissions guy today said he would buy it from me for $3,500 cash right now... lol... My uncle works at a well known Ford dealership in this area and said he could sell it for $6,995 right now.

I understand the whole RWD, 2Door dilema... I am a smaller gal so it's not to hard to get Kam in and out of backseat. I am just happy to have my own vehicle and dont have to move the seat, mirrors, etc.

As for that picture... HAHAHA... ridiculous!!!:crazy:

And I live in Seattle... very little snow here.. and IF for some reason it does happen to snow... I drive the G-rents 07 F450 turbo diesel.. Now that is a blast!!

WTF Mate. I am telling Shawn that there is no way HIS Mustang is better in the snow than HIS Contour. Who said anything about her car? You guys are RIDICULOUS when it comes to having cute girls on the boards.

Oh no, not a v-sick :help: Oh well. Be careful though, when I was in hs, a friend of mine had a internship at a local Ford dealer and they came in by the truckload with coolant in the oil. Glad to see you're still driving a Ford anyways

I'm going to go ahead and ventur to guess that none of the people saying that V6s suck have actually driven one. I drove '99 V6 on a test drive while I was looking for my current car, and I must say; that car sounded and performed WAYY better than I expected. They're quick cars that certainly sound good.

What was ridiculous was how good she cleaned the seats in her SVT.

And you didn't say HIS, you said A Mustang and A Contour. Also, it we aren't being leg humpers here. What she did was she made a financial choice, and got a decent car for good price. Who cares that she had to sell her SVT....she couldn't afford it while having a kid...and like a lot of members on this forum she doesn't live at home to mooch off her parents.
