My Garage Overhaul

One of these days , I've gotta clean my garage . I should get come new cabinets to put the junk into ... in my spare time , lol .

I'm working to get a garage so I have that to face . besides boths cars need a better place to stay too ... as well as myself ....

marriage is for smart people that don't need to bang random chicks and pick up stds. ;)
Plus the dual income and other bennies are fawkin arsesome!

lol I love this thread. Anyway, here's an update:

And with the stairs down (it's where I keep my dead hooker collection)

I've since taped and filled in all the holes. It'll be sanded and fully painted tomorrow. I think I'm going to pick up some new wood trim for the base of the back wall, just because the original was reused from another spot of the garage; and it's too short. I bought a lock for the stairs (since the drywall added some weight and doesn't sit flush) but it's just a tad too small, so that's not installed yet.

You'll notice a 3"~ gap toward the right. I'm not certain I want to shorten a full board to fill it so I think I'll leave it like that and just install the cabinets. Me thinks you won't see the gap then.

sounds like you need some alone time ;)

No , it's not that - it's just that we've been married 15 years , and I don't think there's anything that we've done over the years that we couldn't have done if we weren't married . Except for my wife wearing my grandmother's (un-altered) wedding dress down the aisle (it was 47 years-old at the time) . I'm just saying , that in today's lax society , not being married isn't as taboo as it used to be . we're still together 21 years anyways ...

Oh yea , and the garage is coming along nicely , Bill !

so why do you feel the need to to conform to "today's lax society" be proud of your achievement, being married for 15 years is something to celebrate, not diminsh by saying you could have done all the same things without having to be married...Ang and I have been married for 12...:)

I'm with Kim, being married is better than not ;)

...maybe wifey needs to spice things up for you
