My Garage Overhaul

I can't top that RoyalBlue. :D

Wait, you have stuff stashed on top of and against the sides of the 66!! Remove it immediately or Allen gets it. We'll get your wife to turn it over to him.

Charge by the box.... :)

lol you guys are funny. With any luck I'll have updates this weekend, of some kind. Either ceiling drywall and lighting, or tool storage, so I can finally get that 1970's-something plant stand out of my life.

I can't complain for how much I've spent on this one so far. Easily sub $300, and that's a high estimate. My goal is to keep it under $500.. until spring, that is. :ponder:

i wish i could say that a garage overhaul for my garage would cost that.
i am looking at close to $2000 in supplies just to stop the roof from leaking.
never mind the miles of wire i will need to put outlets and lights in good spots.

but i guess that comes with owning a 1000 sq-ft garage.

I want the Elky garage. :)
Big enough for a lift and large enough to accommodate all of my vehicles without having to remove any when working on other people's cars.
I can dream.

Well, you could knock down the pool and build a garage in the back yard.

Or you could build a garage with a pool in it and have the best of both!

Hmm, I like both of your ideas. :)

Don't want to give up the pool so...

I image that is so true, you'll always find more cool toys/tools to buy.

When I dream, I dream of sugar plums and candy canes...

^ I saw that on TV the other night and thought that would be so cool.
Move the furniture and you've got a huge space to work on cars. I was even thinking that you could incorporate a lift into the floor. When company comes, move the furniture back into place. :)

Try having this as a garage. Horrible horrible horrible. We did have her imprezza in there one winter but I don't think either or our cars would really fit well.
