Would have been close, yes. 0.85 seems to be about right. It's enough to take your coffee out of the cup and deposit it neatly on the rug.

I removed the goofy insert from the passenger side cup holder & it is now nearly perfect for a mug 'O jo.

Fairly true story. my 98.5 svt was by far superior to my 96 se, but they still kinda suck...
then again my audi doesnt have much to offer for cup holders either, I just keep picking crappy cars to hold drinks.
