insurance adjuster called today and we apparently missed the call. Well the voicemail we got says the car is totalled so looks like we are definitly in the market for another car. As long as the buyback is cheap im going to buy the car back, cause the car has too much new :censored::censored::censored::censored: and well to be honest it still drives fine so i could use it for a beater or get the quarter fixed and buy a used door and get the car resprayed lol but anyways there is the news:cry:

Wow thats nuts..Its really not much damage at all..I dont understand Insurance Companys..Maybe it was the damage was more than the Value of the car???

damage estimate came to within $300 of what we paid for the car......... I hate it that this nice of a car will be dead but I'm going to try for a byback if they have their mind right when they price it to me.......
 
well it is time to fight the insurance company of the numbers. I didnt like the offer they gave us at all or well atleast not the buyback. giving us roughly 3100 for the car after our 250ded comes out(still pisses me off cause it was not our fault). Bad thing is they want 1k to buyback the car!!!!!!!!!!:shocked: I am trying to get them to give us the car back and cut a check for 3k and call it a done deal. We will see how it goes.
 
Damn Trey that sucks man. I had a insurance adjuster come to asses my damage to the aarp mobile today too. I will get a check on monday
 
Wow....just reading the updates on this. Sorry to hear about your bad luck! I will be moving back to Knoxville soon, so if y'all still need a car I will let you know when I'm ready to sell mine. I'll just need to find a replacement!!!

well all in all i guess i finally got close to what I wanted out of the deal. We are getting the car back and getting a check for almost 26-2700 cant remember right off hand now lol. i got them to come down to 750 for a buyback and then we never got a rental so they gave us credit of 250 for that so basically i got the car back for 500 so im not too upset anymore. now its down to what to buy or just keep the car drive it as is and pocket the money...........
