Actually if you look at a map you will see that Duluth MN is right on thhe end of Lake Superior. So yes. We have beaches here.
Besides that, Im already sick of winter. Can somebody write up a piece of legislation to illegalize it?:laugh:

I have traveled from Duluth to about 10 miles from the Canadian border the last couple days. Lots of beaches on the lake. And lots of cliffs too. And from the sounds of it, it sounds if the waves are becoming slightly larger as well....too dark outside to see.

Beaches yes, but who would swim in lake Superior? Especially in Duluth? LOL. I'm at the other end of superior quite a bit in Sault St Marie, that lake doesn't even look inviting.
On topic, we had our first good snow yesterday where everyone remembers that snow is slippery and you have to drive slower, it sucked. Here's what my car was looking like last night.

I feel your pain. I hate this time of year. Everytime winter comes I say to myself why am I here??? But I love Chicago and I wouldnt trade it for the world....only during winter:laugh:
