That sucks to hear. What was the estimate? They tried to write of my Cougar a couple years ago but I fought with them and they fixed it. If the damage is close to it's value I would fight to get them to fix it. Unless you just want something new.

it was 3500 to fix the damage plus whatever else was wrong as the engine didnt want to run right after that. So i just bought a new car instead.
