is this what is causing p1451

so its not the green sensor on the power steering line. Its eiither the canister thing on the firewall that has vac lines running to it or the one on the back of the UIM. Im leaking closer to the one on the firewall.
 
still dont have a idea i tried looking in that position where the prior post you put up Sam can anyone post a pic of the part off or on the car i tried googling it and saw multiple things i wanna look prior to getting the new part from sam
 
your part should be there in a day or 2.. so just compare... its a black thing that is actually bolted to the firewall
 
So i replaced the part i have not drove enough for the check engine light to come back on. The thing is the car still has the same issue i checked every hose and connector and all are hooked up and not frayed. I am going to seafoam the motor and see if that helps. I am now thinking maybe its the fuel pump how would i trouble shot that.

Re-read thru ur thread dude. You never told us what was wrong with ur car, except mentioning what code u were pulling.
 
Did you even look up that fault code so you'd have a clue what it refers to ???
it refers to the evap system
A code P1451 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:

VPWR circuit open
Damaged canister vent solenoid
Canister vent solenoid circuit open or shorted to ground, power, etc.
Damaged Powertrain Control Module (PCM)


Re-read thru ur thread dude. You never told us what was wrong with ur car, except mentioning what code u were pulling.
while driving at constant rpm it will seem like the fuel kinda stops getting to the motoR and it kinda bucks a little then picks back up sometimes when im in neutral or coasting it will just stall then it also seems like i dont have the same power if i do accelerate but it does seem to have the fuel issue as bad under WOT

I pulled that code once before on my Ford ranger. Replacing the cannister vent fixed it. I dunno y it didnt fix urs. U positive u replaced the right part? Got a photo of what u replaced? And there isnt any other code?
