I believe you could put them on there like oem, or you could just put them on your wiper cowl and aim them properly. I think striker2 has it like that, much better on the wiper cowl IMO.
 
Hey guys, when the time comes I plan on moving my wiper fluid nozzles to my wiper arms using something like this...

Well shiz...they came standard on 82 to 92 camaro's and firebirds, go to a pick and pull get'em real cheap....

I dont think the vent comes cut out, but I have enough of my elky mesh left over to cover it up...I hope...
 
the vent is not cut out. the back of the cowl has a big hole in it. i'll take a pic in the morning of what it looks like from the drivers seat if i remember
 
How hard is it to cut out the vent and put some mesh in it? Something one can do oneself or no? I'm guessing it is a body shop type job due to the clear coat on the hood. Is there an option to have them cut it out before they clear coat?

From what I've seen not very hard at all.
I've never did it my self, yet, but I've watched it done.
Basically you need to tape both sides, either the blue or green painters tape,
mark your opening drill out the corners and then use a cutoff wheel to connect the dots.
I've seen the unfinished edge handled a couple of ways.
Just leave it unfinished, or use some kind of rubber hose or gasket/molding to go around the edge,
I bet you could even take a little bit of resin and paint the edge if you wanted.
I'm still thinking of a way to attach my Elky mesh.

^ no we need more than 10 peeps or at least 10 but then I would have to see how much discount we're gonna get, plus your gonna pay xtra anyways since you want silver CF
 
Then you should snap that deal up today. I'm in this GB really to see if I can get the hood cheaper than he sells them through ebay for. Plus I might be moving to SoCal this summer depending on job offers so if I'm local then I'll DEF. pick one up off him.

We aré getting a discount, prices were high on these and it ran about $500 just for the hood... If you can get both for that. Would snatch them up without thinking twice!!! :shrug:
 
Yup he will most def sell it to you real cheap if you get it in person, Im from san diego so my brother is gonna pick them up for me an after he ships it, it will cost around $550.

I don't wanna call anyone a liar but ^ I think that's the price for local pick up the trunk might be like $ 280 so $310+280=$590 even if the hood was 300 i highly doubt the trunk would be 200 and them shipping 50 :shrug: hmmmm :blackeye: how does that work!!!?????
