Incredibly violent PSA about texting while driving

It seems they have the right idea in every country but ours. Some of the PSA's they have really wake you the hell up. Over hear, they don't give us graphic examples...and I wish they really would.

i've been an offender...but onyl when i had a phone with a standard keypad, where i could compose an entire message without looking at the phone. since i've gone touch screen, i can't do it while driving. unless i'm at a red light...

Red lights are the only place I do it anymore...or at a stop sign when no one is behind me. I scared the ???? out of myself once and never did it again.

ive done such things as well. only glancing quicly(like i do at gauges) but ive scared my self even just doing that. and now dont anymore

I've learned to refuse text messages unless at a long red light or in a drive thru, or something like that.

well, unless they're talking about marijuana...no i guess they don't.

I'll do it on like a highway trip or red lights, but other than that I don't like to do it while driving.

or you could just NOT have texting like i do...you just gotta CALL ME.

...also, doesn't it make sense for a hearing-impaired kid to have texting..AT ALL? hell, you gotta call me to talk and THATS a PIA:mad:

however, I have had some friends in DE and some cruising home from MD who have gotten pulled over for "aggressive driving" due to hitting the line a couple times...all becuase of texting.

My phone flew out of the center console during a crash and I lost it at the time I needed it most. Since then, I keep it tucked away in my jacket pocket on the passenger floor. The added benefit is that there is no distracted driving from cell phone use.

My girlfriend texts and swerves even though I've asked her not to do it while I'm in the car with her at least. When I bring it up it starts a fight because she graduated from the Sears Driving School and that should be good enough for me.

I don't even look to see who's calling when I'm driving I just enjoy the sounds of my ringtone and keep on drivin. If i'm driving somewheres long distance it usually isn't by myself so I just have the passenger answer.

Yikes! Perhaps you could ask her if Sears covered the chapter on keeping your eyes on the road? Seems like that might have been required curriculum for graduation...

My best friend regularly texts while he drives, and he has a touchscreen smartphone. It scares the bejeebus out of me when I'm in the car.
