Cinram in Olyphant laid off more than 300 people this morning. A spokesperson for the company said certain distribution, warehousing, and packaging operations are being moved to other plants in other states. That spokesperson added the company plans to move some of the affected workers into current openings. They hope to have the rest retrained and in other jobs at Cinram before the end of the year.
Cinram makes compact discs and DVDs."
