I spotted a Contour...

Driving home from school today (around 3:00) I saw a nice looking silverfrost SVT traveling east on Clairemont Ave. Was kinda cool cause it was the first one I've ever seen in real life. I was like "hey that kinda looks like a contour... Hey wait is that a..." then I saw the side skirts and black bottom of the rear bumper by then I knew, SVT.

I was kinda bummed though to because I wanted to be the only one with one in Eau Claire if I ever bought one. Oh well, anyone's on here? Is anyone on the forum even in Eau Claire?

Maybe? Depends on when really (I have never been to a drag strip as a driver, but sounds like fun!)

me either, I was supposed to go a few weeks ago with my bro but money was tight, he ran and 17 somethin, but he was running crazy rich.

I will get some info, im not sure when they close down for the year.
 
I was in Bradley IL last week doing some training for company Peddinghaus on N. Washington AVE....sorry I can't remember the street...I wanna say it was wabash or quincy or something...but there was a nice looking silver frost svt w/ dual melon shooters out the back in a driveway. Looked just like mine but in much better shape.

Anyone here claim her??
Was cool to travel away and see one.

I'll even give you the benefit of the doubt that you saved her from the heap and are in the process of doing a full resto!

Haha, yeah looks like they are saving it but to everyone else it just looks like a banged up conturd :crazy:. Welcome back old timer!
 
I spotted a T-Red SVT coming off Hwy.23 last night around 10pm. Caught a quick glance of it, i think the windows might have been tinted. Other than that she looked pretty much stock. Was that anyone from on here?:shrug:

Holy e, that thing actually passed me the other day coming through Kenosha!

Seriously, I about puked. Not a good thing to see when driving an 80k lb truck. I wanted to end the poor things misery!
