I had the same problem years ago when I drove a left hand drive '60 Fairlane on our English roads, it was far too wide for them and as you pulled out to overtake by the time you could see around a truck the passenger side tyres were rubbing the opposite kerb. But at least I didn't get confused with the shifter as it was a slush box. As for transatlantic importing I've been trying for 5 years to find someone to sell and import to me, in the UK a '98 SVT front bumper.

If I ever see one in the junkyard here (there's like 5 or 6 SVT Contours JUST around my base... gotta be plenty more in Germany), or my car gets wrecked, I'll post it up on MEG and the German Mondeo boards if anyone wants any parts!
