Is not easliy amused.
Its ridiculous because people invest thousands and thousands of dollars into their automobiles, and crushing the cars for breaking a law seems just a tad bit unjust. I could see jail time as a punishment, but not destroying a car, that is complete bull****! And chances are, they'll build new cars and keep street racing.
They invest thousands and thousands TO break the law. Unjust? Tell the families of the victims that. This action was brought on by innocent bystanders getting killed by street racers. I have no remorse for street racers. If they're willing to break a law for a 3 or 4 minute thrill that involves excess of 120 mph, then they deserve to pay a price that will keep them from being able to do it again. Chances are they can't afford to build a new one because they've probably had the living **** sued and fined out of them, and they can't get insurance money for the car that was crushed...let alone get insurance without paying an outrageous premium.
