Ok.. That makes sense the wording in the post made it sound differently. HIS vs HIT. I even read it 3 times, I feel like and idiot.

I would say it's also a perfect example of why CEG doesn't condone street racing. Not that this was "racing" per say, but still ridiculously stupid.

Rich? No, rich people wouldnt be doing that in front of a mexican food chain. As mentioned this is what happens when nice cars dont sell, the value drops and then idiots that should never own them get their hands on one. I wouldnt be surprised to find he didnt have insurance or wasnt making his car payments.

Hahaha! Great, now I just woke up my son! But honestly, it's one thing to spin some wheels at the end of a vacant parking area or scrub out as you leave, but to put traffic moving at least 50mph at risk is crazy. I've been to a lot of local meets and one Spring Zing and I've never seen anything as reckless as that short video clip.
I did go to a mixed car meet in Worcester Mass where a Vette burned out of a parking area, crossed a street and ran thru some bushes in front of a church. The Vette fled once the owner saw what the driver had done.
And this may also be the GTO demographic. Now that I'm driving the Volvo, I've gone to a few local Volvo meets. These guys spend tons of money eeking out some crazy horsepower in these cars (fairly specific to S60R/V70R) but they all appear to be very good drivers and they have their fun in moderation.

That reminds me of the classic youtube video of the night meet where the kid comes up the hill, into the parking lot and smacks the other car.

The last GTO didn't seem to go that fast after he hit the town car... I was kinda hoping the town car would accelerate and make sure the driver didn't get away, but I'm sure he noticed all the people in the parking lot and the cameras... Hopefully he was able to attain some cops and get some video evidence of the whole lot... That would be a real kicker, all the people caught on tape go to jail the next week.... that'd be a kick in the nuts... lol... On another note though... ridiculously stupid... I thought for sure during that white out there would of been a rear ending of that GTO... Fun is great... but fun that endangers the lives of others... not so great... I hope the makers of the video and the people doing the stupid crap in the videos got some police intervention....

What a bunch of re re's..especially with all that oncoming traffic! Good way to end some family's live coming back from holiday. The guy with the camera sounded like an episode from Beevis & Butthead. SICK!

reminds of the idiot charger meet they had in atlanta last week. I counted a total of 18 chargers on the side of the road each with a state trooper behind it. and driver in handcuffs on the ground.

i wont mention a certain few EGL members that absolutely do NOT know how to caravan. at SZ07, the 5 or so of us in the back of the pack on the way to Rosies were left in the dust. the front of the pack did 80+ the entire way :nonono:
