After a long 11-12 years my old yet reliable car has rolled over a new milestone (at least for this car).

She is showing signs of her age and my poor upkeep which I regret, but thats neither here nor there.

I sold my pre98 and have a 99 SE Zetec now, rolled over to 172K just last week :) I win :D
 
Car looks good! I've got a '99 Spruce Green SE Sport. She's got 174K. Still runs like a top. Needs motor mounts and struts but I still love driving this thing! Taking her to Colorado this weekend to see my folks. I'm not buying a new car. I'm gonna have her refurbed and keep on driving!!

Well we are getting a new car but I had some nice EGL folks stop by today to tell me exactly what they thought my car would need to possible last as long as possible and I was surprised to find out it's not as bad as I though it would be.

I think I may drop between $500-$1000 to keep her going and in better shape then when I bought her.
 
Sounds like a plan. Mine needs new motor mounts, new struts, and a few other little tweaks but it's still running great, still a blast to drive.
 
165,000 in my 2000 SE :)
the 98LX is stuck at a 145,000 till someone fixes it...or that may be it for it...maybe she will live on as parts in some other tours :(
