What are the different non-SVT colors for post-98 Contours? I can't remember what my first Contour's color was. Spruce Green? It was a light metallic green, not the dark green like the SVTs... :shrug:

-Green-
->Apline Green
->Dark Green Satin
->Meduim Willow Green
->Spruce Green
Amazon Green
Pacific Green
Tobago Green
Tropic Green

So it looks like I had either a Spruce Green or a Willow Green... I think it was a 2000, I can't even remember now... :crazy:

I'm sure.
:)
Snow is fun but winter sucks.

Well my car is Spruce Green so if you look at the pics in my profile, it should give you a good idea of what that green is. To save time a brief description would be that Spruce Green is a greenish-gray, in some lights it looks more gray, in others more green, and at night in street lights and most artificial lights or dimly lit days it has a tannish hue to it.

Well, those pics were taken during the first couple of months of ownership by me, now it's completely salt white, with a dent in the pass. fender courtesy of one of my jerk friends, a black mark on the pass. side front bumper courtesy of some jerk in a parking lot that didn't think they needed to leave a note, and just recently I noticed another random idiot didn't feel like leaving a note when they hit the pass. rear quarter panel near the fuel door. Luckily the black mark will probably buff out, and the dent in the rear quarter looks as though it can be popped out with only a minor touch up needed in the paint since some of it cracked when it bent in.

:(
No more mentioning that dent in the fender. :D

Yeah, we can all leave Dans car alone and rag on Glenn for the dent under my tail light.

I'm willing to take one for the team. :)

It sounds like it really was picked on.
I must say Dan is nicer than me, I would have kicked my "friend" after he kicked my fender. He would have paid in more ways than one, for sure.

Dan, this spring you need to come down, we will put that fender on for you and see what other marks we can get off that car.

Yea , no kidding . I would've kicked my "friend" in the junk for denting my car :mad: . I let my friend drive my CSVT once , and he scratched the hell outta the bottom of my front valance on a curb - even AFTER I warned him a few times to take it easy :censored: . He will NEVER drive it again . He still lets me drive his Spec-V any time I want to though - of course I didn't scuff HIS car ;) !

That's why no one drives my car. As you all know, I don't even like people near my car.
Dan is much nicer than me. After my "friend" picked himself off the ground my car would have gone to the body shop and it would have cost him even more.

Haha, yeah, most of the 3L money needs to be rerouted into bodywork now thanks to people who can't drive (mostly everyone) and that kid, but don't worry, I've punched the kid many times, I restrained myself that time because I didn't want to kill or seriously maim him. I mean, I did want too, but it definitely was not a good idea. Oh well, I'll toss some money into the body, while I'm at it might as well find a gray leather interior so I can have those coveted folding rear seats, and then have a stealership fix the dash warp that has been creeping in. Maybe I'll just save myself some money, fix what needs to be fixed on the 'Tour and keep it as a winter beater, then get a real toy. I've had my eye on some RX-8's and with the full time job I'm getting now (thank you minimum wage increase, makes finding a job over 9.50 sooo much easier) 15K is very do-able, and if you look, you can get them fully loaded with such low miles for 15K and under, I actually found one, an '04 fully loaded including Nav and GT package, with under 4K miles on it with a clean title for $17,500!
