can any 1 do this for me?

Everyone is giving you a hard time because to the vast majority of people here (or even in another car forum) could tell just by looking at the lights that it isn't just a simple or cheap job. For one you need projectors, and an HID set up (ballasts, bulbs, wiring) and like the previous replies have stated, good projectors aren't cheap, nor is an HID kit (don't argue w/ me people, $200 is probably a fair amount to this kid). Second, you now need to take the time to crack open your lights, and modify the housing to hold the projectors. Sound easy? Didn't think so. Next you need to finish the reflector surface in the housing, paint, whatever. Mind you once this is all done, you need to put it all back together and make it look as good as the one's you are referring to. How much time would it take you? How much is your time worth? $800 is worth it to those who can appreciate the effort that goes into these one-off lights.

Hell, while yer at it, why not ask someone to fab up some Morrette's?? LOL.

start off slow. paint the inside first. then maybe a HID set up. then projectors. u end up spending the same amount but over a good amount of time. my head lights are on their third transformation

I'm still waiting patiently for that magical email from the Morette people stating that they finally have them for our cars. I don't think I can wait much longer though.

Someone a while ago had the great idea of telling them to just release them as non DOT approved off-road use only lights. I think we ALL need to email them and request this!!!

Why so much?just to paint the inside and but them circle things is 800 that's crazy

800 is crazy, like nuts in the butt! where does this jerk get off charging so much?!

I charge what I charge because in the end I have to make the project worth my time. Ive spent COUNTLESS hours in the garage playing around with stuff, I dont think its unreasonable to be paid for some of the knowledge ive accumulated.

from what i have learned anything under 3" will work.

3" fit too ;)

For those of you that attempt it yourself, I encourage you. I never claimed to be the only guy that could do it. If it wasnt for Milan being very sceptical about my ability to complete my very first project, I would have never persisted. Look at it now, ive gained knowledge with every retro. If I dont fully answer your question, or seem short im sorry but I taught myself, you guys can too :). Hell yamaha pm'ed me a buncha times, and in the end he took it upon himself to search out the info he needed, and put together a retro that is functionally good. Its the same line as when I did my first retro, I was straight budget, 200 for everything. The projectors were not very good, the HID system was decent. Its kinda spiraled out of control from there.....

Oh, and a slightly depressing side note.... I show you guys all these different retros, but I myself do not have a retro for my car . I sold mine off expecting to do a better one, and then a 3 liter fell into my lap, and then, and then, and then. Keep your eyes peeled next year for something ;)

It was a joke. He said he was fine, and mentioned that the damage would buff out. I would not make fun of serious injury or a totaled car, but fender benders are fair game.

Nobody felt bad about making fun of tricker blowing his car up. Even though it was his own fault he is still out a few thousand to get a new engine, but everybody is fine making fun of him.
