they did eventually take it on the Top Gear test track in season 12 episode 4 (aired Nov 23rd 2008) and it ran a 1:18.3 and was the 4th fastest at the time. it was then immediately knocked down a position by the Pagani Zonda F which ran a 1:17.8 the same episode.2 episodes later it was beaten by the Caterham Seven R500 which ran a 1:17.9 on cold tires, moving the Bugatti down to the 6th fastest road car they've had.
 
I love that clip. I love that car. I love that track.

If I was given that chance to get on that amazing track with that car....I would...I dont know...cry? They should give more credit to the track, its pretty cool.

which doesnt count because its not street legal. if you look at my previous post in this thread you will see the time that it ran.

true but look what we're dealing with here, Bugatti is just straight line fast, its not mean for a track which is why the Zonda beat it..I love the Bugatti, however ive read numerous articled on the Bugatto vs GT-R and all of them said the same, Bugatti at a straight way annihilated the GT-R however come the turn and GT-R spanked the Veyron..

even the top gear episode where they raced the veyron against the plane, veyron won because on the highway hey layed it out..The veyron is awesome, but its good for speed and thats about it..

oh i completely agree. I never said anything about it being the best track car, in fact I basically proved that it wasnt buy posting the times of the other cars. I just stated that the FXX, while technically the fastest thing they have had on the track, doesnt count and is not on their power board since its not street legal.
