i made one out of plate steel for the front, i love it. if you redid every mount you could in theory lower the motor down and get the cg lower
I think that would be a great idea with a dry sump setup

You pay for the dry sump system and I'll start tomorrow.

both the roll resistors on my VR4 are solid steel. they are quite a bit lighter than stock and far cheaper than poly filled ones. Love them, even on a DD.

You got the Maximal Motorsports janks? I loved them on mine. I didn't even notice the vibration at idle...but those not used to it certainly did!
Every time I stop by this thread I'm amazed. I'm sure you don't need the kudos but wanted to give you them anyway. This is a massive undertaking that I'm sure will end up being one of the most, if not the most, epic Contours of all time...
it has been the most epic contour for some time already...
Love everything your doing here, im just patiently waiting for you to get back on the rwd project.
That's pretty slick Josh. Nice work. Definitely see some improvement with the trans mount and the passenger side motor mount. Question on the motor mount though... is that just a mock up? Reason I ask is I'm thinking you may want to consider adding in supports at the other bolt mounting locations. That is a fairly decent moment arm and it also doesn't constrain the mount in all the directions seeing movement (fore-aft)
