Please tell me you drove it on the street exactly like that.

I get enough unwanted attention from a few sponsor decals and a bright red Sparco seat...

It's just easier than saying harness bar/x-brace. I will incorporate a full roof loop, door bars and two more rear strut tower bars next year.

It's a cross my fingers and hope they don't see me drive. I made it no problem, it's only about a 10 minute drive and I took back roads.

Good progress! Random question...looks like you removed the plastic fuel door piece (surrounding the fuelneck) ? So if so, what did you do with the hose that attaches to it coming from the charcoal box?

I thought I saw you had made a sunroof delete panel? Did you not want it in place for paint for some reason?

It simply diconnects from the fiel door. I will be keeping the charcoal box untill I put the fuel cell in durring next years build.

I'm painting the two seperate then riviting it on. I want the look similar to the dash delete panels.

would it be safe to just ziptie that hose to the fuelneck? I dont want to reinstall the inside plastic part on my bullit fuel door. seems like its vented to the atmosphere anyways...?
 
We did not get color on the car today. Things just didn't work out so rather than rush it, I took it back to my garage to do more assembly work and we will spray it next weekend.
 
Tonight: Scrub down the interior of all the over spray from cage painting, final seat install, auxiliary gauge install and leaning up the interior wiring harnesses.
