Be more specific. There are many magazines out there. Flabby, hairy, midget, the list goes on...

as for not bein able to afford a 3K dollar car, i cant. but what i'm saying about mods is, when i can spare the extra money, like 150, i can get the adjustible fuel regulator, and if i get an extra 250 laying around, i can get the header, and so on. first, i'm trying to save about 4K for next semester of school. i have this semester paid off as of tonight and so i wont have to worry about it now for 5 or so months, and i have all "bills" paid off till june. so all i'm payin for is gas and food. so once i get about 4K saved up i'm gonna start puttin every paycheck after that into MY car, not a new one.

hes got a really good point. Unless you end up with more money then brains(a hell of alot more) then youll never beat a vett on a drag strip(unless it has a catastrophic failure and doesn't finish). If you still have way more money then brains, you might be able to make an insane turbo track car to "hang" with a vett on a track. :shrug: their are goals and dreams... put race slips in one hand and dream about races in the other. One will always have more wins...

I did have the money. You see where that got me? That got me right up to the point where I had to get my ass in gear and buy it. You see where I am? I'm in a Focus. Not a turbo Zetec. I wish I had both. But I don't.

Moral: JDI. There's a whole thread about my car. Striker just quietly did his ish, and didn't speak of plans. That's my biggest mistake, over and over again.
 
actually, i think my chances (if i get a turbo) are pretty damn good. he's driving an all stock 1994 C4 Corvette LT-1 Auto. the best they run is like a 14.1. there are plenty of guys here that can beat or come close to that, even with the right setup in a 3.0 N/A. so i dont think its out of reach. and to whoever offered me their sister, i dont want her if i win. i have my own GF and i dont want ur midget/hairy supermodel sister. :laugh:

and cobra, no offense, but i wouldnt buy a focus if i had the money. i'd either work on mine or get a Fox body mustang. but to each his own

I don't need more money in the car.. that's the plus!.. I can use whatever I'd use in the car towards Valtrex, each month..
