This car has never been restored, ever repainted! Here's some details...

-1963 Olds Cutlass F-85
-215 c.i. V8
10.25:1 factory compression
-Three on the tree (soon to be replaced with a Hurst 4 pistol grip)
-Holley 650 4 bbl
-American Racing kidney beans (we think around '73s:shrug: )
-Tan leather
-52,000 miles

The car pulls relatively hard considering the 3-speed/18 trillion-lb combination, and sounds AWESOME! The car is soon to either get a full rebuild with hi-flow heads, lopey cam, long tubes, and such; or a Rocket 350 with cam, headers, and such. Either way, it will have a 4-speeed Hurst pistol grip and a 12-bolt.
Hope you don't mind the cell phone pics.

And one more thing... If you don't know why this car is cool, you FAIL for life:laugh:

Sweet ride! That car is big as hell!

16-foot-long compact!
That's right. The car was advertised as a compact!

Oh, and BTW, those pics were taken just before we mowed the grass for the first time @ my house, so excuse the massive brown spots. They're all gone now:laugh:

The car is cool because its different, period but IMO if your going the route of a bigger V8, may I suggest a "close to period" correct 425 c.i.d. or even a 455 w/ low compression so you can run pump gas:idea: BTW, look for some American Racing Torque-Thrusts w/ radial redlines:cool:

He's either gunna stay with the kidney beans or paint the steelies black and slap on some dog bowls. The car is going to be painted primer red in the fall. Everyone has Torq-thrusts.

And he's gunna pick up a free 75% complete 283 in a couple of weeks from our friend, Pete. Its got all the big stuff (full bottom end alond with heads), and just needs exhaust, intake manifold, carb (got one @ Ryan's house), and water pump. I think it also needs a revamped valvetrain.
