Im always looking to improve my skills. constantly looking at other peoples stuff to get ideas, and reading about photography.

And if I remember right you have nice little camera there. I am using a kodak z760. Not bad, I can change the settings fairly well on it to get what I am looking for...most of the time. LOL. And I use the best tripod in the world....my shoe on the ground.

lol, thts awesome, the shoe on the ground! the look pretty good still! is that a lake up near you?

for tripods, ive used... tripods (i have 2 right now), ledges, against a tree, the ground, ect ect.

I shoot most of my stuff with a Nikon D50. i have a couple of lens's, some filters, and a remote (to reduce camera shake for long exposures). i also shoot with a canon powershot 450 (also what my vids are done with right now) and that actualyl takes pretty good photos!

my next lens will be a fisheye. i REALLY want to get one for some cool angle/looks. this spring i should be shooting another shoot with the fiero and my bros car. were going to get some more action shots. :D

edit: and if you are looking for atripod at all, i usually just use the cheapest one at best buy. sits plenty stable, and is really light for hiking!

The lake is sort of near us. It is Lake Superior on our honeymoon.

lol, doh! i feel like an idiot! i just look at them again, and yeah, i cant really see across it :)

i think this spring i'll try using my camera mount on the car for some cool effects. i can mount it SUPER low on the door and use a remote to shoot the other car. and if we keep the speed down, i wont worry about it falling off.

i want spring to come :( i have great winter shots, BUT, i want spring here :(

Techinically that one above my friend took... He was doing a bit of experimenting:

That would look quite cool if you lightened up the entire background, as you have on the right, provided you could dial that in without washing out the car.

Yeah i was down on garfield avenue last fall and I saw these guys.... Bunch of wackos.:crazy:

That car on the left has expired tabs... I can tell without even seeing a front plate

Talk about wackos. Who meets to check out each other's Escorts and Taurus's anyhow?

I swear I dont know what your talking about... :ponder::shrug: :laugh:

The sad thing about this is that I have actually had to explain to people that my car is not "basically an escort".:nonono: I wanna hit someone when they say oh thats a nice escort.

Just think, if I get that SVT we will have practically the same car..

werd about the escort comment. i pulled up at a light in bemidji with a lowered fart canned civic. we took off and i kinda got on it a little, just to hear it. at the next light, he says "nice escort." i then had to explain to him that it had a 200 hp v6 in it and was nothing like an escort. his eyes got big :D

my buddies like to call it a taurus just to give me a hard time :) even when i got my hondu, they still give me a hard time about the "taurus."

btw, there is nothing wrong with a shamefull whore of your car, or any photography that you do:D at least, thats what I think!

taken the weekend before the accident :(
