I installed a 200k mile CSVT engine in my 140k SE sport. I got a little oil smoke smell coasting but I'll do a 3.0l swap when she gives up.

Who has acheived the 200,000 mile mark?

I have a 2000 Tour 2.5 with 233,000 miles on it, starting to have tranny issues and oil leaks like a siv but still runs well outside the tranny sticking at times...I still drive it as a back up car. My new 2.0 has 177,000 on it, so will be joining the ranks I am sure soon...the 98 2.0 only made it to 150.000 or so when I sold it.

207K ish... 98 SE 2.5L.... Trans issue 1st to 2nd unless babied... bizarro over heat issues.. but overall still a nice car.

My Cougar will be hitting 190,000 next week; original engine, but the transmission has been replaced because of a differential failure. Should officially join the club in 2013.
