I am getting rid of my SVT due to a breakdown that I do not want to fix. So I am selling my entire stereo system. This will be pick up or reasonable delivery distance only. This is just too big/heavy to ship.
Included will be:
-Alpine 9835 headunit
-Alpine MRV-F540 4 channel amplifier
-Alpine MRD-M501 Mono-block amplifier
-Diamond Audio 12" D612D4 subwoofer
-Alpine Amp-link system that allows all adjustments on the sub amp to be adjusted from the headunit (like 12 different settings, its really cool)
-The custom built box that houses the amps, distribution blocks, 1 farad capacitor(not hooked up, but built in and included) and is custom built to exact spec for the sub (to within a few cubic cm!)
-If needed I will also include all wiring harnesses, RCA cables, power/ground cables, distribution blocks, speaker wire, amplifier bypass harness. Everything is still pre-wired so anybody with a bone stock contour can just plug and play this system.

1998 SVT Contour #1436, 73K miles. Great condition with low mileage. Body is in great shape with only minor scratches on front bumper. Interior is in fantastic shape and looks like new for being 12 yrs old. You will be hard pressed to find a better example without any major modifications and in such good condition.

In the past 6 months, I've replaced:
- All New Goodyear Eagle GT's
- Front Wheel Bearings
- Rear Sway Bar Bushings and End Links
- New Water Pump
- K&N Drop In Air Filter
- Cabin Air Filter
- Alternator, Serpentine Belt, Idler Pulley
- Trans Fluid
- Rear Brakes

The only bad: The trans has been acting up as of late. At times, it's hard to put into 1st gear or reverse so you have to start in 2nd. Otherwise, no grinding and shifts fine once you are up an running. Great condition and shows well. Email me if interested, gmadias AT gmail.com.

Car is completely stock with the exception of the wheels, radio and a K&N drop in air filter.
I have the factory E0 Wheels as well.
Has all power options-locks, mirrors, windows ,driver's seat, sunroof with new motor.
I do have the SVT certificate for the car and all the factory manuals.
I am the third owner and as far as I know it has never been wrecked.
Tires are about 6 mos old and in very good shape.
Brake pads and rotors were replaced around same time as tires and still in very good shape.
A/C works great and is Ice Cold.
All services have been done with Amsoil Synthetic Fluids-Oil, Transmission, Anti-freeze and Brake Fluid.

After a lot of thought I have decided to put my car on the market. This is a great condition E0 SVT with a strong motor, but the wiring harness is having problems and I don't have the time or desire to deal with it. The good part is I have a parts car (EO SE with blown motor but everything else works!) with a good harness that you get for free when you buy this one! I have already cut the crank position sensor wiring out of the SE, but I have the connector in great shape with 8" of good wiring on it (easy splice)


The SVT:

• 1998 SVT Ford Contour

• Motor runs STRONG and made 168whp/157wtq
• Transmission shifts smoothly and never grinds

Seats are in good shape, door panels are a little dirty, exterior of the car is actually in OK shape. Decent bumpers but need work, primed fenders, cracked mounting tab on rear bumper. No big dings/scratches. The trunk does have two golf ball size dents. No mesh, no grill......

The Most important thing to note about this setup is that LITERALLY EVERY moving part in the motor was replaced with new parts out of the box. PO didn't reuse anything but the cams and Valves. This means Lifters, guides, timing chains, tensioners, oil pump, pick-up tube, valve springs/retainers are all at the 35K mark as far as wear is concerned. I will keep the motor a whole as possible for as long as I can. It would be great for starting a rebuild on because everything is new.
