The Best Modded Contours

my car would never make it on here because i got a spoiler and nobody on CEG likes spoilers apprently...

No one on here has any particular beef with spoilers i dont think. The majority of us still like the outlandish cossie escort & sierra spoilers. Its just gotta flow with the car's lines thats all. Heck, the 2000 cobra R has a park bench on it's trunklid. But it works with the rest of the car and is ultimately functional. Our cars are about looking clean. A huge wing on the back just throws the look off for some reason.

Why dont u simply get another trunklid?
the guy i bought it off of was a car painter and he said its an extremely hard color to match its like called cinnamon brown or something like that so the color would be off

I also love Mikeys car, it looks awesome from far away when you cant see the detail on the headlights..ooo nice wheels mike :D :D

Ive been looking for those headlights, where did you find them?

Those are one offs, you can steal them off that car if you want them that bad. Contact Morrette(sp?) and have them make you a pair, buy a UK pair for the mondeo and have them fitted.

Search for the creation of those headlights thread, good stuff to read. Also they look like crap upclose.

No they don't. The fitment could use some work, yeah. But these headlights look so damn good that the fitment becomes less of an issue than it would've been if they weren't morrettes. How do i know this? I get compliments on them all the time. Yes, they're mine now. Have been on my car for years now. I'm rocking them better than mikey did too:D. Appreciatively, its been nominated a time or two already in this thread. So if u're gonna come snatch these, u've got a ways to drive OBcontour;)

Im actually looking for a set i can buy, as of right now my current lights are being held in by epoxy, and the one is fill with water droplets and is starting to yellow. Also the stock lamps dont have any style.

Trunk lids can be had for $30 at junk yards... might even be able to match your paint. If not then painting the lid should only be about $150. Either that or get in on the CF pre98 trunk lid GB ;)

Well, unfortunately for us, there is little we can do by way of adding style to our headlights. Here are some options tho;
1) Hightower- Cracking open the stock headlights & painting the inside whatever color & way u desire.
2) Eyelids- Using strips of different materials to line the top or/and bottom of the stock lenses.
3) Projectors- Self explanatory really. Retro the stock headlights.
4) Black'd Out- Self explanatory as well. Cover up ur stock headlights with black film or plastic. Them gto thingys...
5) Contour Morrettes- Thats what i've got on mine. Only one was made for contours. It was a prototype. The company decided against making them. I imagine tho that if u gave them enough money, they'll make u one;).
6) Mondeo Morrettes- Final option available if u really want these. There's another svt in arizona thats rocking one. The difference is it's for a mondeo. To make it work, extensive contour front end reconstruction had to be done. Not sure exactly what all had to be done.

Anyway, these are our main options regarding zazzing up our headlights. Its possible i've missed one or two.

Thank you for clearing up the styling issue for me, personally i like to do things that not a lot of people do those headlights being one of them, but now i know why they're so hard to find
