New paint scheme for the rally car

This past weekend I accidentally parked my rally car on top of a dirt berm at about 40 mph trying to navigate the three and a half mile course. Needless to say the side skirt was ripped off. The front and rear bumper are fine. As a result of this I'm going to get regular front and rear bumpers and dich the side skirts. Since I'm going to need to do some repainting, I would like some suggestions of my new paint scheme. The car is silver now , but it doesn't have to stay that way. I'm up for any suggestions. What I would really like to see is some photoshop pictures of some out of the ordinary painted contours. Two, three, even fifty different colors if that's what you fancey. I even thought of doing it in a whole bunch of grafitti. So my question is, What color would YOU paint a contour race car? Again. Photoshop pictures are really going to be helpful here.

I'd like an Escort Cosworth tribute. Ya know, the white and blue thing?

I was leaning really heavy towards white and blue, but I diddn't know how to apply it. That's where photoshop pics would come in handy. I was also thinking of putting cosworth vents on the hood for cooling. Especially once i put on a skid plate.

This combo I like. Put a round number plate in the middle of the seperation on the doors.

Leave the photoshop up to someone else, but the vents would be:drool: . Just figured I'd throw a concept out there:shrug:

Speaking from experience, keep it very simple. Fancy paint schemes look great, for a little while, then you will hate yourself having to fix it all the time.

You might be new enough to know that a few CEGers used to do the cossie style hood vents. Didn't really care for it on a streeted car but on a rally car it would be cool.

Do you mean old?

Must be the senility:laugh:

And yeah, I know about them. IMO, they look great.

It's not going to be too fancy. If it gets messed up, and it will, I'm not going to spend too much time fixing it up. It just has to look good in pictures while I'm racing. I'm not entering a car show.

I first found ceg in 2002. I've never seen any pictures of the hood vents though.

My main problem is that I have not been able to figure out the contours of the contour. Neither have these guys. It goes straight down the side and looks like it doesn't belong at all. This sticks out, but not in the way I'm aiming for. I have a feeling that I'm going to use a lot of blue painters tape to figure it out.
