New Car

Ive got no problem with that. It was the best option for you. Sure i would have liked to see you buy a Ford, but really i would take the Nissan over the Ranger. I could see if he was deciding between a F-150 and the Frontier but he wasnt so taking it over the Ranger was a smart thing to do. I would like more people to buy American made cars and trucks too but calling him stupid pretty much is rather ignorant. Its not like he was looking between the new F-450 and the Frontier. Look at what class the truck is in, he made a smart choice.

tell that idiot to shut up!!!!!!!. foriegn or not it doesnt really matter. ford chevy and all the american car manufactures have made really crappy cars and trucks. anyone say cavlier, fiestiva, neon. all with there HUGE apprent problems. go to a junk yard and see for yourself idiot. way more neons, and cavi's there then on the road.

Then for the trucks. its all about what u like. heck toyota is made in the usa now. everything is going to get better when u have competition.

For saying all foriegn cars are crap. i say go f urself. our cars are originally foriegn made to fit european standards.

not really a big fan of this design i liked the bodystyle before better but hey nice truck anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW that is one HIGH garage door! Is that your place man?!

Its my parents place, Im renting. We have a lake house, thats the detached garage. I live in the apartment above the garage and am responsible for the 8 acres around it. Its a 6 car garage, and the main doors are ~15-20' and its drive through so we dont have to back in the boat.

Garage pics can come later.

prob Jap Reliability

You call that a truck, I call it a kid's toy. A Chevy, GMC, or Ford would walk all over that piece. Like stated before it's a foriegn peice of ****. I can't beleive you would consider that over a quality American truck. Oh I spose like you said though your "car instinct" got the best of you. Next time you're looking for a truck let your "truck instict" get to you instead of the car. Very dissapointed. Can't lie I hate foreign cars, trucks, and SUVs.

You hick! I am a very big fan of American cars, but I still have my appreciation for foreign automobiles.

Ignorant a-hole!

Congrats on the new truck! It looks good on the front end.

I'm not all for the large cab, no bed kinda truck though...

To the side:

Oh and the only reason there are alot of cavaliers in the junkyard is because cheap idoits, buy cheap cars and dont maintain them. Althought there are other problems with later model cavaliers, but nothing largely mechanical.

The old neon is a pos in my opinion. I've never know of one to peak over 100K with having major maintenace done on it. The newer design, you will still have cheap ******* destorying cars,

Not to mention I see a butt load of a escorts contours, taurus, civics, altimas, corolla's, grand am's, grand prix's in the junkyard as well. so don't be so quick to say foreign/domestic are better.

Nissan trucks what!?!?!

Hope you enjoy yours, ours has had some problems, but it puts up with decent abuse, just make sure you have a good warranty, because before i started wheelin' the truck it had a decent amount of problems, still does. But I the think Titan is built a little better, at least i hope so.

So get out there and wheel that sh*t up!

Well i dont like how its foreign you know i already expressed that, I do like that its not the ridgeline. but have fun and post if you have any problems so we can see if the new foreign truck really holds together better than some american ones.

You know before this post I had always heard that there was a preference for American trucks, and I knew that they were indeed the industry leaders.... But I could never understand why, foreign automakers make great auto's.

Come to find out, there are a TON of narrow minded rednecks in the US!. "If it aint amurican I aint not buyin it" and here I though it had to do with its qualifications as a truck.

I don't care what you say american trucks are built stronger and last longer. I know i am a little bias having grown up in a Chevy family all the way back, but I've been around American vehicles all my life working in Bartsch Garage. You can't tell me that a little Nissan is better than a quality Chevy you call me a nincumpoop or however you spell it I call you an idiot for buying foreign. Just my way I guess but hey it has got me this far. Say what you want and call me what you want but American brands all the way( except dodge I don't like them). And by the way my dad's GMC would school that thing royally.

If I were shopping for small trucks, then absolutely I'd look at imports. The Dakota is effin ugly, and the GM twins are no lookers either. However, it's domestic ALL THE WAY for large trucks. After all, I could NEVER have done this with an import, Titan OR Tundra:

I know he wasn't. I was responding to the earlier posts regarding import vs. domestic trucks in general. Like I said, if I was in the market for a small truck, as he was, then I would have been looking at the Nissan quite closely.
I wasnt talking to you because i agree with you. I was talking to 96 contour gl. I should have clarified that i guess.

...that was idiotic

Anyway, very nice choice. Looks mean, I'd hit it. I'm happy to see you chose not to go with the Ridgeline, I won't lie, I know nothing about it so it could be a very good truck, but IMO its just plain ugly.
