Meh

Its running....... but the rear manifold is hitting the alt bracket. I didnt notice it until now and there is a gap between the manifold and the head. so its leaking exhaust. I need to remove the manifold, remove the bracket....grind it and replace.
 
well since its leaking exhaust that gets recirculated back into the car... no its not running right but it does run nice.
 
Why? Becaus the sephia used a Kia made bp05 engine. The same as an escort gt or miata, except a lot cheaper. And I just got home from the shop at about 12:45 last night. It was a lemons race car that is on it's way to this weekends race as we speak. We got the engine at 8 am and had it in the car running at 9 pm. There's a little bit we had to do to the engine to make I work in a ford besides just put our alternator and power steering pump in it. We also had a bunch of tuning and final preparation before we sent the car out. That's why I didn't leave th shop til midnight. We're going to use the Kia valve cover and stick it on somebodys miata as a practical joke. It should be funny.
 
it was a box body style civic hatch. like a early 90's model. droppeda 351W in it. i havnt seen that car in years or even know if its still around. it was fast as hell though.
 
I may be stopping by at one of the pistol ranges in O-town tomorrow. I need to go to the Millenia mall and I saw there is an indoor range near by. If you're interested (and have your own weapon) send me a PM.

Im totally interested. unless its the range off of Orange Blossom Trail. Its the most craptasic range Ive ever seen, $15 range fee too. Actually, I dont have any 9mm ammo to plink with...ugh. Might have to pass.
 
I think it was the one off obt. It's like 3 miles from the mall. I don't know anything about it though. Maybe somewhere else? I don't want to drive clear across town though.
 
was also going to stop by bass pro to pick up ammo (and browse, I love that store). I could pick up extra if you needed me to. I mean we shoot the same gun (bringing my p99 too):shrug:
 
Oh sweet I forgot you had the same thing. I usually go to walmart for ammo and they never have 9mm. What time are you planning on being here? Ill PM you.
 
I was planning on leaving around 9. That would pit me at BP at 10:15 or so. I probably need 45 min there before I hit millenia. Maybe 30 - 40 in there. I know what I need so it's going to be as quick as I cam get in and out but that place is huge. So I guess around lunch sometime

if that range sucks is there a decent one within a reasonable distance from there?

went shootin this week. .357 .38 .40 .45 9x19. picking up a gen 3 .40 glock here soon hopefully.


Radiator in the CSVT....has anyone ever hade a custom one made?
