IC - SVT Contour ID Tags

Note the streak through the Contour SVT. This is due to the rubber strip under the hood rubbing against the tag. I have ordered a new one and will shift it down an inch or so to avoid this issue.

I am thinking down and to the right.

I placed mine to cover up all of the holes... will this rub on the seal? I didn't even think that it would harm the tag...

Guitarman-it looks like it will get rubbed by the hood gasket because it is in almost the exact same spot as Dr. Cross's and his rubbed. You might want to move it somewhere else just to be sure, and check where the hood gasket comes down when you close the hood.

let the hood down and look where the gasket touches. If it touches then move it now while it is going to be easier than later

as for placement under the hood I am thinking over the drivers side headlight on the flat spot that has the oval openning in it.
