How long have you owned your contour?

Got my Contour Se Sport ATX this year not more than 5 weeks ago with 85,000 miles on it. I love it.

Bought my '00 new on February 23, 2000 with 35 miles on the clock. Still driven daily with almost 213K on it now. Incidently, my first visit to this site was February 22, 2000.

I've only been a member for a year and a half and I've owned a Contour since 2005. :shrug:

I'm not really sure why it took so long to join, was kinda of a lurker before and then when help was needed with the 95, thought I better join. Theres a lot cool people here and it seems like a lot fun not to mention all the good advise and tech. stuff.
Glad you like the se, it's been a good car, my 15 year old son is after it now. We'll have to see...

Holy crap, 200,000 miles on the original clutch! You must baby that thing like none other :shocked:

Owned mine new since September 1999, just passed 97,000 miles. Was relatively trouble free up until last year. After putting about $4000 in the past year for various repairs (differential went, then axle boot ripped and shorted out my alternator) she is going nowhere anytime soon.

I bought mine in March of '04 with a little over 44k miles on it, right now it sits in the parking lot with exactly 111,111 miles. She's eaten 2 alternators already, the cat is shattered inside and rattles all the time and the EGR system sets off CEL's every 40 miles but she's still my baby and I still love her, lol

9 years. 135,000 miles. I'm about to sell it, though, as I bought a new car in March :-/ I will miss her.

wow you really should change your fuel filter lol it is one of the cheapest and easiest things to do on these cars.
