Just about one year... I bought my 1998.5(I think its .5 because theres no dash clock) Contour SE in late June 2008, but I didnt get it insured until July 7th, when I promptly went and dumped money on all sorts of maintenance and repairs. So Im declaring July 7th to be its official 1yr birthday for me.
As a recap, the car is awesome, everything I hoped for. I paid $1,800 cash CAD for it, $200 or so in tax and registration and over the last year have spent I estimate $1,300 on repairs and maintenance. Friggin front LCAs and an O2 sensor cost over half that. I have done 18,000kms
