Yet Another..

..Hightower thread :crazy:

I picked up a cheap pair of hazed headlights off a friend and baked them open only to find all the chrome on the important reflective parts is all eaten away, so only the one piece out of them was good so I painted them gloss black (was going to do satin black but I already had gloss). So I only had 1 option, crack open my good pair, which meant waiting till I had a day off to do it.

Oh yeah, and painted some eyelids on the inside while I was at it :laugh:

Finished product

They both badly need to be wet sanded and cleared/sealed again after being baked.

Installed pics tomorrow after the silicone drys overnight.

Got them cleaned up and painted the sanded off silver edges.

Also got some expanded steel and made a grille last night. Still have enough left for a lower grille :laugh:

:shrug: It's the original one that came with the car.

And I don't plan on putting it back on the car, looks better without it IMO.

Get the ring body colored and get rid of those goofy little foglights for some oem ones and it will look great.
