wondering if throwing a sho shop ypipe with stock headers will make any performance difference and if the tone of the exhaust change. thannks!
If it comes with a cat, then you will notice a difference with very little volume/tone change.
If it comes without the main cat, you will notice more of a throttle response and the tone/sound will increase.
It's the first thing i bought for my exhaust when i first got my car! It's a great mod.

It is one of the best first mods you can do for your car. The stock ypipe is VERY restrictive.

i took the cat and resonater out and put a new smaller resonater in and kept the stock mufflers. think i'd be raspy?

It might be on cold start ups but thats it. You will get a lot of drone though...... that is all.

do get the catted sho-shop y-pipe you don't want the drone.... mine is painful without a resonator and flowmaster 40 series but the stock y-pipe is way restrictive...

Neal...if you take a bone stock svt and add a shoshop with no cat. It's perfect!!

Well...eve though they went out the buisness. The ones that are in circulation are the ones being passed around like...whores :laugh:
But you can always buy a new y-pipe kinda similar to the bat pipe. Trubendz sells the. With or without a cat.
