My wife has a 1998 GL 4cylinder, which consequently has been the best car either of us have ever owned as far as reliability goes!
She really likes my stereo system, which consists of a JL 500/1 hooked to 3 10w1s, and a 300;4 hooked to all jl components.
She currently has polk audio specials from circuit city in her doors, which arent horrible speakers, but she wants a little better sound.
I was on crutchfield, and really like the idea of a powered subwoofer. They have this:
http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?g=51000&i=108BASSLN2&c=3&tp=114&avf=N
Infnity BassLink Powered subwoofer with a 250 watt amplifer.
There is also a slot for an add on amplifier called a basslink module, which is a 4 channel amplifier in itself. If I buy the BassLink powered subwoofer, you get that module for free.
So basically, for 250 bucks, I could get her a nice subwoofer, that wont take up much space, and it will come with a amplifier to send 35 watts to each of the 4 speakers.
Is it worth it?
