Who's in the NYC area?

I was hoping to get a bit more of a response from this thread, LOL.
C'mon Tri-State & PA!!!

I stayed out of this one because you asked who was in the NYC area. ;)
I'm not in that area but I'll chime in for ya. :D
PA representing.

To NYC, about an hour and a half.
Do you ever go to the San Gennaro festival?

I haven't gone in 2 years but my complexion lets me pass for italian, lol. I always have a good time for that and the PR day parade. Is that a must for you cuz it is definitely worth it!

BTW, you have a very clean SF SVT!

I may go this year. I haven't been to the festival in two years.
I am Italian. Well, I'm really Sicilian. ;)

Thank you for the compliment.

No way do we drive! We hop on the Trans Bridge bus. Less aggravation and no worries about the car getting damaged in some tight little parking lot.

I heard that!! Besides, the last Car show at the Javitts center the parking had gone up to about $40-60 in those lots so I can only imagine. I drive 10-15min to the train station so I can come home on the last train, the train doesn't stop in my city after 11, rather have the extra 3 hours to drink and BS amongst other activities and not worry about taking a sobriety test.

Your making me want to go to the next one now, sucks for me that most of my friends are all married with kids...

Well, some asshole in an F-150 made me choose to either go head-on with him or hit a gaurd rail. Once I choose the gaurd rail :nonono:, he moved and kept going. If anyone is in my general area, I was on Union Valley Road in Mahopac. This guy/gal came around a corner right at me, not one the safest roads and at 3am... Long story short I need a new pass side fender and a "bit" of touch up paint. Sucks but atleast it's just a fender, I don't think I would've won in a head-on.

 People suck!
I'm sure you'll get her all fixed up and looking good again real soon.

If we go to the festival this year, I will let you know and we can meet up.
We usually go wondering around the City also. Maybe a few other NYC'ers would want to get together also.

Sounds like an idea, drinks + good food = meet, LOL.
This is late October correct?

As far as my SVT goes, I really need to change the fender :nonono:, I may leave the battle scars until shes ready to come back out, as much as it sucks. I wanted to get her painted in the near but distant future and it seems I have more of a reason now, but it still has to wait. I want to take care of the things it needs due to its age, I just hope that I don't have any more run-ins, well, run-offs rather .

Drop me a pm if you do

Sorry to hear about the Tour

Thanks.
I'll be looking into this if we have enough people interested and we have plenty of time to get some numbers.

The festival usually takes place in the last 2 weeks of September so anyone whos interested. May start another thread...

I checked Trans-Bridge and they aren't running the San Gennaro bus this year.

Maybe a late Oct./early Nov meet would work?

I'll make sure to PM you Loki. :)

Late Oct is around my B-day, hint hint, LOL. I regret admiting that but anyway. Whatevers clever with me. Would be nice to get people from all four states in the same place, well those who wouldn't have to drive too far. I think New Roc City (New Rochelle NY) would be a nice place for a meet. They have everything from go-karts to billiards and moonlight bowling as well as an IMAX theater that is all indoors, that or the Palisades Mall.

What do we have for options in PA, NJ, CT? Upstate NY?
Let's see if we can get some ideas flowing here.
