Who has spacers w/ FSVT's

you don't need hub centric rings for factory wheels

The Axis Neo's I have use plastic Centerfuge rings. I'm fairly sure you wont be able to use them with spacers.

Basically how important are the Centerfuge rings?

The main reason I ask is because, I have rubbing issues under heavy load or very large bumps. The 2 back tires are rubbing the plastic liner along the rear inner edge. So I was considering running spacers to help with the problem.

Also what would be, if any, the side effects of running spacers in just the rear?

Wonder how long the wheel bearings are going to last now? I'm thinking this mod is going to be costlier than $30 in the long run.

I think the wheel bearings should be fine, or about as fine as running other large aftermarket wheel/tire combo. Even with the spacers his offset is probably close to what most aftermarket wheels run

I had aftermarket wheels on my last contour that were this far out I'm guessing looking at the pics. Couldn't figure out why I was going through wheel bearings all the time. Young and uninformed.

I am a little concerned too, but the offset is now at 44mm. CSVT1214 said his OZ wheels he runs are 42mm. Im not sure if he had issues.

his drivers side hub and bearing did wear out and he had to replace everything recently ... the axle nut kept coming loose.

The first bearing that went was an original bearing. I let it go for too long and it killed the hub. That's why I went through 3 of them. Since the swap with the knuckle from the parts car, and a new bearing, it's been fine. The passenger side is still the original bearing with 144k miles on it.

I see no reason why he would have problems.

ok....Ive got 3mm spacers w/ FSVT wheels. Reason is I mounted (squeeezed) 235 45 17 Michelin PS ,and they where basically touching the rear strut because of the width of the tire. Ive also got a set of Eibach 5mm spacers w/ longer studs on standby if I needed them. Which I didnt. Contour SE stock suspension, and they look good in there.
