while surfing for some parts, i came across a web page on a forum.

Not sure about the the rights or such but i've seen questions, which engine can i use.

Hopefully this info will help someone visually identify one engine from another.

Duratec VIN S '01-'05


You can use Duratec's back to '99 I believe, but the older ones are electric waterpumps, not cam driven like our current 2.5L is. Less power in them too. Stick with the '04-'05.
