Where can you get a B&M shifter?

When you get lucky and someone on here puts one up for sale. That's how I got mine for my last CSVT. I'm sure someone sells them still, but I don't know where...

I'm sure somone in China sells knock offs. nothing ever reallly goes out of production heck even the ford flathead V8 ford, stopped makeing in '53 was made in France into the late 90s

why would you want a B&M? its essentially just a cut shifter which only gives minimal shortening of the shift throws. the only 2 real short throw shifters (actually lengthen the distance between the pivot ball and the lower cable mount) are the FRPP/Steeda and the CFM, with the CFM being the shortest throw (the shaft height is also adjustable on the CFM).

Maybe because he doesn't want to deal with having a riser plate made and dropping the exhaust system and heat shield to install a shifter when you can install a B&M in like 15 minutes? I found my B&M on ebay in February. If I had known what a good deal I got, I would have bought all that the seller had.

I think new B&Ms are about $200??

I am selling the one I have for $150. It is still in the car, but will be for sale soooooon.

You can get them every day of the week for $170 on Summitracing.com. I picked mine up NIB for $69.99 shipped. Wish I would have got the other one too.

Well I had a B&M in my 99 and it worked perfect.
DO you have a part # for the steeda one? is it just a bolt in like the B&M. I don't want to drop the exhaust and all that crap for a shifter.
Thanks

When are you gonna sell yours?

i bought a knock-off of ebay for something like 60 bucks. its for a focus but it works great. i welded the lower ball before installation.

no need to make a riser plate for the CFM shifter as it comes with one. also, as long as you have the metal shifter base there is no need to drop the exhaust

if your shifter base is metal then both the CFM and Steeda shifters are bolt in, with the CFM being easier as it comes with the riser plate (Steeda you have to get one made). the CFM shifter is actually the regular focus shifter with the riser plate for the SVT focus shifter (unfortunatly you cant use the SVT focus shifter has the lower cable mount points the wrong way).

CFM shifter, this shifter also has ZERO welds so you dont have to worry about breaking it.

Steeda shifter

I like that they list removing the factory reverse lockout as a feature. :)
it is. the reverse lockout is an unneeded "feature" from the factory. there is a much stronger lockout built into the shift tower inside the trans that forces you to go to neutral before going to reverse.

Does anyone have a pic of the B&M shifter? I think i have one in my csvt but i dont know what to look for?
